Our love story began long before we met, from our wrong choices to the right one in Brixton… #RTLOVESTORY We used to think soulmates were something written in the stars, two names etched into the sky long before they ever met. But somewhere along the way, we realised our love was something even more beautiful than destiny. It was choice, something we both prayed for. We found each other because of the prayers, and we chose to stay on purpose. Out of all the paths our lives could have taken, out of all the hands we could have held, we turned towards one another and said, “This is the life we want.” Our “I do.” For us, being soulmates isn’t about inevitability. It’s about waking up each morning and choosing the same heart again. It’s about looking at each other in the middle of ordinary days and knowing we are exactly where we’re meant to be, not because we have to be, but because we want to be. We have become each other’s steady place. When the world feels heavy, we are the exhale. When life is loud, we are the quiet understanding in a single glance. In every possible version of the future, every celebration, every challenge, every small, sacred moment — we don’t just hope the other is there. We know we want them there. We have learned that the most beautiful love is one that is open and certain. The kind where we can stand unguarded and be fully seen. The kind where vulnerability is met with gentleness, where patience is practised, where kindness is intentional.
